In Ladhanpur village of Kaila Devi police station area, the bike went out of control at around 2.30 pm on Wednesday afternoon when a wheel fell into a pothole in the road. Due to which Neeru (48), resident of Harijan Basti, Mohalla of Gavan, who was sitting behind, jumped from the bike and fell down. Due to which he died.

Vishnu, a resident of Mohalla Harijan Basti of Kasba Gavan of Rajpura police station area, told that on Wednesday afternoon he was going to Sambal on bike to get medicines for his mother Neeru. The wheel of his bike fell into a pothole in the road near village Ladhanpur on the Sambhal-Gwan road.

Due to which the bike went out of control and his mother sitting behind the bike fell down and got seriously injured. After the accident, with the help of the passersby gathered at the spot, the seriously injured mother was taken to a private hospital in Sambhal for treatment.

Where he died during treatment. The family members have cremated the body without taking any action. The woman has left behind three sons. The villagers told that there are big and deep potholes at many places on the road. Accidents are happening due to these potholes spread over a radius of several kilometers. Due to this the woman lost her life in the accident.

Car collides with Nilgai, driver injured

Asif, a resident of village Rustampur Nyavali of Asmoli police station area, was going to his in-laws house Daboi Khurd in a Wagonar car along with his wife Ashiya, sister Sabbo and younger brother Atiq. When the car reached between Mahmudnagar and Akbarpur Gahra on Sambhal-Joya road, it collided with a Nilgai.

Car driver Asif resident of Rustampur Nyawali was injured in the accident. Ajay (25), a resident of village Gehat in Junabai, had come to Gunnaur by bike with his wife Guddo and mother Anokhi. Was returning home by bike after getting his wife’s ultrasound done.

When he reached near the water tank located on the Badaun-Meerut highway, his bike collided with a stray animal. Ajay, his wife Guddo, mother Anokhi were injured in the accident. He was admitted to CHC Gunnaur Community Health Center for treatment.

There the doctors referred the seriously injured woman Anokhi to a higher centre. Ajay and his wife were taken to a private hospital for treatment.
